I have a take on every one of these games - and my take is that this is a tough week:
New York Giants 3
New England Patriots -3
I cant figure this pats team out, they lose everyone on D yet they have come damn near winning 4 in a row (lost to washington by 3 and looked like they had it in the tank to win). Initially I would take the Giants because I still dont see how the pats can continue to compete with their entire team on the IR. Then again - The Giants are puzzling too, they come out and beat St louis then they stink up the place losing to Dallas (after having a big lead), barely beating Washington, and coughing up the ball all game to lose against Miami - after an extra week to prepare!
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3
Washington Redskins 3
I cant imagine the bucs losing here but with Alstott and Keyshawn out who the hell knows. Not that the team has any offense to speak of with those guys but its enough uncertainty to make me hold off for now.
Oakland Raiders 3
Cleveland Browns -3
Oakland blows and cleveland - other than the baltimore fiasco in week 2 has done pretty well. I have a strong lean towards Clevland here but Oakland makes me nervous - they cant be all that different of a team than they were last year when they gained more yards in the air than any other team... But they sure do seem to suck this year - not saying they are "due" to win one but the incertainty kills me.
Carolina Panthers 5
Indianapolis Colts -5
Carolina has done well but other than their suprise vs tampa I dont think they have really been tested. Indy has offense and defense which none of the teams carolina has faced thus far can really boast about. I lean heavy on the colts but I suppose this is a prime spot for them to let down and I also heard that one of their Olineman is out and they lost a linebacker too. Cant tell how bad this will hurt them till the game is played so uh...
Kansas City Chiefs 1
Green Bay Packers -1
KC, also undefeated - may be another case of a team that just hasnt been tested. SD, Pitt, Houston, Baltimore? Come on... They played a real team (Denver) and only won by 1. Now they gotta go to GB. I cant tell if GB is gonna break out and win some and their wins havent been too convincing either. Who the hell knows.
Houston Texans 10
Tennessee Titans -10
10 is too many - and houston has had a week to prepare for this. Then again the Titans probably feel the need to take it out on someone and this would be the team to do it against.
Miami Dolphins -3
Jacksonville Jaguars 3
This is the one game I actually like - I think Miami should hand Jacksonville their asses. Having said that I know that Seau is hurt... That could come back to bite me but I like Miami -3 here.
Chicago Bears 6
New Orleans Saints -6
6 is a lot but then again the bears suck. The saints suck too so I'm not really gonna look at this one anymore...
Philadelphia Eagles Pick
Dallas Cowboys Pick
Tough one - but I gotta think that Dallas should be able to do what they do best against philly... at home with some confidence a win could very well happen. But Dallas could come back down to earth at any time I suppose.
Buffalo Bills -3
New York Jets 3
Would play the bills but since theyve burned me for 3 weeks in a row now I think I might lay off. But they oughtta kill the jets right?
Pittsburgh Steelers 7
Denver Broncos -7
Steelers are dealing with yet another loud mouth making stupid comments and creating controversy - its hard to play also in Denver - so I lean denver but I wonder whether or not 7 is too many...
Baltimore Ravens -6
Arizona Cardinals 6
6 is too many for a home team, and I thought I saw Arizona starting to show some signs of life. Maybe not though - not worth the risk.
San Francisco 49ers +3½
Seattle Seahawks -3½
This makes no sense to me and it has to be a trap. Yeah the game is in Seattle and seattle won a few games for once but if it werent for SF's lackluster performaces this year I would normally pound SF in this spot.
Atlanta Falcons 11
St. Louis Rams -11
11 is a lotta points and atlanta has actually done better than their record shows - given the circumstances. Atlanta has had to play minny, carolina, and tampa over the last few weeks and if anything the rams are a step down from those teams. They'll probably lose to St louis but i'm weary about the 11 pts.

As you say, this season doesnt get any easier, Seems anyone can win. A lot of games have been decided by 1 or 2 calls, good or bad, so much so that the first thing I consider now is the coaching staff. They are winning games more than ever before. Cincinatti for one has lost games by bad play calling, San Deigo being given a 4th & 1 pass play which was unsuccessful must have driven the O-Line mad.
Buffalo are in trouble, and without Moulds and Henry, Adams banged up even The Jets can beat them. But we are back to my first point, can Edwards take advantage.
I have been waiting to take on Carolina with a solid team, but EDge might not play and I need to look closer at Indys run defense.
The raiders & The Browns both have red flags with me. Meaning they are too inconsistant to predict, I will ask my Daughter to confirm the Maths but I seem to remember 2 + = minus and 2 minus,s = minus. if thats the case maybe its a good under.
Until New Orleans get healthy on Defense I have to stay away.
As for the rest , the spread looks about right. As usual injuries will have to be analysised. The reason I never took on The Patriots last week was The Titans also had significant injuries. They are now without Samari Rolle and all 3 TEs.

What's up J. Agree with pretty much everything you said... My initial instict was to take the 9ers as well but backed off with all the troubles the 9er are having. Seattle was borught back to earth last week, though, solid pick. I've got Travis Henry on my fantasy team, here's the injury report I got from Yahoo:
"Oct 8 Buffalo Bills RB Travis Henry (ribs) has torn rib cartilage. He's still experiencing some soreness, but is expected to play Sunday, Oct. 12, game against the New York Jets. "
I like the Bills as well, but in the 1st half. I've seen Testaverde make it close in the 4th quarter too many times. As for that Giants pick, I don't know, I think the Patriots have been out-doing themselves a bit and the Giants haven't gained momentum yet, I think they're a quality club and can get up on the Pats, just got a feeling.
